Virtual Reality

““But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.””

Matthew 16:15-16 NIV

No wonder so many video companies are going after the virtual market. There are so many people that want to escape the reality they live in. They want to experience things that they can’t do in real life. They want to be someone else, to do things that they in reality cannot do. The problem is most of these people have no clue how to exist in the real world. Their thinking has become som distorted by the virtual that reality is not real to them. It’s almost as if their brain has flipped reality with virtual. As if their real life is in the virtual world and what they do here doesn’t really matter. How was that we are equipping a whole generation to miss what is really going on in the world by hiding in their virtual world. Jesus asked His disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” He did not want something made up, He wanted His disciples to know truth, to know who He truly was. Every kind of story and thought was going around about Jesus. But those who were living around Him and doing life with Him, they are the ones who knew the truth, and they called Him Lord. Not because of what others said but because of the reality they lived in. Recognize Jesus for who He truly His. He is more than Social Media says He is. He is more than a made person in a made up place., He is not a virtual God. He is living, breathing, and interceding for us.
