The Finisher

“looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2 NKJV

How many unfinished projects are laying around your house, sitting in your garage, or maybe right before your very eyes. Unfinished projects are annoying for people who are a completer. Call it OCD or any other form you want, but unfinished projects speak volumes. Sometimes is speaks of apathy, slothfulness, laziness, and even just pure lack of motivation. How many great ideas do we have that we never see through or that we never follow through with. Everyone’s life is full of unfinished projects whether it be personal, professional or even spiritual. How do you get motivated or inspired to complete the things that are set before you. It’s called priority! Learning to accomplish the task that is set before you one at a time. Accomplish one thing and then move to the next. Stop being overwhelmed by all the projects and focus on what is at hand. Jesus did this very thing, from taking time to pray, to performing one miracle at a time, to enduring the cross. Until the task on the cross was completed He could not enter hell to take back the keys, death had to occur first. If he had not have taken the keys from Satan, his resurrection would have meant very little. See each accomplishment in life is significant. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. Time for you to walk in His footsteps.
