“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:33-34 NKJV
The most frequent prayer request I hear from people is, “I just want more of God.” My usual response is, “What are you doing to get more?”. Most people are not spending time with Him, they are not spending time in prayer, no time in His Word, no time in His presence. So how do you get more, if you are not willing to take time to seek Him? Seeking him is not in a worship song, not that worship is bad, but seeking Him comes from intimate conversations, intimate moments with Him, intimate moments in His Word that changes our perspective and changes us. Seeking Him causes change, change in us, change in our heart, change in our families, our responses, our settings, our atmosphere. Seeking Him will always demand a response from us, it demands that we are all in or all out. There is no in between, there’s no partial custody with God. You’re either all His or all not. When you seek Him, He will reveal Himself to you, He will allow you to find Him. When you find Him, you will know it, because you begin to see His Kingdom His righteousness, you no longer see you, only Him!
