Lessons from 2020 - Lesson 7

“Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.”

I Corinthians 15:33-34 NKJV

Common Sense, good sense and sound judgement in practical matters, knowing good from evil. We are that generation that has called evil good and good evil. We are the ones that have listen to the destructive lies of the enemy (or media might be a better term). We have allowed the masses to speak. But Jesus was one voice, speaking truth when no one else was speaking it. People were speaking fear, fear of government, fear of people with authority, they spoke panic, poverty, and persecution. But Jesus spoke peace, love, joy, and perseverance. Shame on us from backing down from truth, from not rising up to confront those who twist the truth. You do not have to have a PhD to understand that there is good and evil, and that evil rises up when good men do nothing. You are the only person that will stand before God and give an answer for what you have done with what He has given you. We, like no other generation have God’s word at our finger tips, so use it to defeat the lies of the enemy. Let 2021 be the year that we are no longer deceived, that we awake to righteousness, let His word come alive in you.
