“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
I Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJV
Ever been on that trip with a child or teenager or even adult that no matter what is done they are never happy about it. They grumble the whole way and nothing seems to please them. Have you ever stopped to thing that maybe we have become that way with God. Maybe anger has consumed you. Or depression or anxiety overtakes you. But what if your whole life was filled with being thankful. What if we learned to recognize that everything has a purpose in our life. What if we learned to thank God for the little things, for the unseen things, for the moments He provides when we can’t even see it. What if we took the time to thank Him for what He has brought us from and where He is taking us to. Instead of grumbling the whole trip and finding fault and bad in every step we take. What if we stop and thank God for what we do have, for the air we breath. For family, friends, co-workers. Or how about just beginning to thank Him for Life!
