“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
II Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
Springtime always brings out all kinds of interesting insects, from the creepy, crawly, to the slithering, slimy. From those that fly to those that dig in the dirt. Insects of all kinds come out and I personally do not care for insects especially those that sting or bite. I immediately want to pull out the bug spray and either kill them or repel them whichever works. What if we could do that in real life, things that annoyed us or hurt us, we could just spray something to repel them. We could whip out the repellent and just spray things or people away. But wait what if we are the one someone is spraying away. What if God used repellent and sprayed those who are living in sin or who reject Him. I for one should not be here, I would have already been exterminated. I’m so thankful for His grace. For the ability to receive His word, apply His word, and live according to His word. I’m thankful that He sees what He has placed inside of me and is patiently waiting for me to continue to walk out what He knows is in me. So the next time you go to use your bug spray just remember, God’s grace is for everyone. And His grace is sufficient!
