“Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.”

Romans 2:1-2 NKJV

Don’t you hate it when you stump your toe on the corner of the bed, when you know that it is there. Or hit your head on an open cabinet door, in which you are the person who opened the cabinet door. It not only hurts really bad, but it also makes you mad. Why I’m not sure, but it just aggravates me when I do something this stupid and it causes so much pain to me. I’m not sure if its the pain that makes me mad or the mindless act of just doing something stupid. Something I know is there and yet I hit it anyway, something I have caused and ultimately I cannot blame anyone else for but myself. Maybe it’s that fact alone that is so irritating. We always want to blame someone or something for the bad things that happen to us. We want someone else to take the fall for it. We get angry because we don’t want to take the blame, we want someone else to shoulder that. We even blame God for the bad things that happen, when in reality if we look around we see that sin and evil is always at the root of bad things. I know it may not be the most comforting thing to hear but maybe it’s time to stop blaming someone else or even God for everything that is wrong in your life, for everything that is hurting you. And take a deep look at what is causing us pain and why are we so adamant at blaming someone else.
